Artworking

Our artworking service produces artwork for a wide variety of printed materials where little or no creative input is required. Either copying an existing product or creating something new, this covers everything from business stationery through to business forms and labels. All artwork produced is archived to ensure all future updates and reprints are quick and efficient.

Typesetting and page layout

We have extensive experience in the typesetting and printing of brochures, booklets and newsletters – either designing from scratch or working to the clients brand guidelines or current literature to ensure brand continuity. We accepted text in most formats and can also provide OCR scanning and keying where required.

Pre-press file checking

From checking a file has the correct bleeds and trim marks, through to colours, finishes and cutter guides, We review your supplied artwork and flag any possible issues. If possible, we can also provide a cost to fix these, giving you the option to amend the artwork or supply a revised file. This helps us to ensure we provide you a smooth production process.

Vector logo illustration

If you have an existing logo but don’t have it in a vector format then this can be redrawn for you. Logos displayed on your website will generally be low resolution and unless you have the original design files, it will not be suitable for print, in this instance your logo will need to be redrawn. You can supply the existing logo in any format, be it on a printed piece of paper, in a word document or on your website. Once redrawn, it will be supplied as a scalable vector graphic in AI, EPS and PDF Formats.

Brand policing

When multiple people within an organisation are purchasing the print and design, there is often the risk that they are not all completely aware of the brand guidelines, and while marketing may try to protect the brand, other departments may not. To resolve this, a complete range of branded samples can be collected, and each item evaluated for brand compliance. Our evaluation covers everything from the use of logos, fonts, colours and the positioning of these elements. A report is then created detailing any deviations from the brand, and any suitable recommendations to fix them.
